Certified Corporate Governance Documentation Management

All organizations require the management of their governing documentation, and this task contains many elements that are required of the professional corporate documentation manager. This will ensure the quality of the creation and distribution, the continual improvement, and the implementation of governing rules and processes across the entire organization.

Associate Certification

The Associate Certified Corporate Governance Documentation Manager is educated in the foundation of documentation management as well as an in-depth study on managing governance documentation. The associate will be proficient in processing corporate information from expectations to implementation. This certification includes appropriate qualifications in MS Office, fundamentals of quality management, and the ability to professionally resolve conflict in opinion surrounding the implementation and management of procedures.

Professional Certification

The Professional Certified Corporate Governance Documentation Manager has the ability to create, implement, and maintain a corporate governance documentation management system, including the software tools to increase productivity and efficiency. The professional is also trained in the fundamentals of project management to ensure any implementation or improvement project is successful.

Certification Requirements for Corporate Documentation Management

Associate Member

Associate Members are required to successfully complete the following courses (available through ZanEdU College www.zan-edu.com):

  • Documentation Management History and Introduction - Course code GB-DM-001
  • Corporate Documentation Management Introduction - Course code GB-DM-005
  • Creation of Drawings and Introduction to Publishing Documentation - Course code GB-DM-006
  • Introduction to Documentation Management Software (DMS) Requirements - Course code SB-DM-001
  • Corporate Documentation Levels Explained - Course code CI-DM-001
  • Creating, Modifying, and Publishing Corporate Documentation - Course code CI-DM-002
  • Managing Reviews and Corporate Documentation from External Parties - Course code CI-DM-003
  • Corporate Documentation Management Numbering, Storage and Securities, and Continual Improvement - Course code CI-DM-004

In addition to the above courses, Associate Members must successfully complete the following:

  • Intermediate Certificate (or equivalent) in MS Office 2010 or 2013 (Microsoft certified courses only)
    • Outlook
    • Word
    • Excel
    • and Powerpoint
  • aRCA Fundamentals - www.asq.org
  • Conflict Resolution - any official local school or institution

Professional Member

Professional Members are required to complete all of the Associate Member courses as well as the following courses (available through ZanEdU College www.zan-edu.com):

  • Numbering and Revisioning Requirements of Documentation Management Software - Course code SI-DM-002
