Certified Facility Documentation Management

Managing documentation and data files at a construction site during the construction phase requires specialized methods and processes, as there are diverse parties involved and unique challenges. Interacting with the head office documentation control and with the documentation management software also carries variances unique to the construction environment. Included in this career is the need for understanding construction quality and management stages to ensure the construction project is successful.

Associate

The Associate Certified Facility Documentation Manager is proficient in the fundamentals of all divisions of documentation management, of corporate governance documentation, and vendor documentation management. They are capable of supporting the facility documentation management structure under the guidance of a professional. This certification includes appropriate qualifications in MS Office, fundamentals of quality management, and the ability to professionally resolve conflict in opinion surrounding the implementation and management of procedures.

Professional

The Professional Certified Facility Documentation Manager is proficient in detailed facility and construction documentation management strategies as well as construction project management from an information perspective. They have been trained in engineering philosophies and can evaluate and implement software tools in the facility environment. The professional is also trained in the fundamentals of general project management to ensure any implementation or improvement project is successful.

Associate Member
